In October 2020, a girls’ session was held at the NHSLS for the very first time. (13) teams from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the Washington, DC area competed, during the very challenging time of Covid. The event and structure (high school teams playing together and players fulfilling their roles on their high school team), was very well received by the high school coaches and college coaches that received video of every game of the NHSLS.
